CHAPTER II
UNITS IN RESERVE COMPONENT STATUS
This Chapter shows allocation of units by State, including structure strength, authorized strength and assigned strength.

FIRST LINE
TPSN/EL: Troop Program Sequence Number/Element Sequence. A TPSN ij
consists of five digits, and groups organizations of s like type. il
Some entries also have a two-digit element sequence number added to the TPSN. AR 18-19.
UlC: Unit Identification Code. The code which uniquely identifies ;
a particular unit. JCS Pub 6.
UNIT
NO: Unit Number. The numerical portion of the unit or parent
unit designation.
BR: Branch. Branch of service for TOE units. AR 18-19 and page 7,

U
LEV: Parent Unit Level. Battalion or separate company or equivalent
level for TOE units. (Abbreviations are the same as for Unit Level Codes.) JCS Pub 6.
CA
RS: Combat Arms Regimental System. The controlled numerical portion of the unit designation of certain combat arms units. JCS Pub 6.
DESCRIPTION. Remainder of unit name or unit title. AR 18-19.
STACP: Permanent Station Code. Code for the permanent location of
the unit. AR 18-17 and AR 18-18.
STATION: Name of the community in which the unit is located.
AA
ST: Army Area--State. A three-character code. The first character denotes the CONUS Army Area or Overseas Command. The second and third characters denote the State (including DC and PR). AR 18-17, AR 18-18 and page 8.
TOE MTOE
TDA NO: The Army authorization document under which the unit is organized (TOE, MTOE, or TDA). AR 310-49.
FEDREC
DATE: Federal Recognition Date. Day-month-year of Federal recognition. (Sometimes appears as year-month-day.)
FCN: Force Category Number. National Guard Bureau unclassified code showing the order of priority for allocation of resources, on a scale of 1 to 12. For this edition, disregard FCN's shown.

ASSIGNED STRENGTH: Morning Report strength as of the date of OFF AMSC WO ENL AGG publication.
To read figures under these headings: For each entry, strength figures are shown immediately below the entry. Unit count and strength totals are shown as follows.
1. Unique Entries. For non-divlsional units, if an entry is unique as to both TPSN and UIC (not a split unit or subordinate unit), unit count and strength figures for that entry, TPSN and UIC are shown only on the first line below the entry. For divisional units, if an entry is unique as to UIC, unit count and strength figures for that entry and UIC are shown on the first line below the entry, and are also included in the division T?SN total (see below). However, if a division entry is unique as to UIC, but is a detachment split off from its parent unit in another State (e.g., WPR8A1), no total is shown for "ALOT" and "F/R", but "SPL" and strength totals are shown for the detachment.
2. UIC Total. If multiple entries are made under a given parent UIC (split unit or subordinate units), strength figures are shown below each entry and unit count and strength totals for that UIC are shown on the second line below the last entry under the parent UIC, However, for divisional units, if multiple entries are made of detachment splits (e.g., WPR5A1 and WPR5B1), no total is shown for "ALOT" and F/R", but "SPL" and strength totals are shown for that UIC (WPR5--).
