OUR 1953 INTRODUCTIONS 830A — PINK LEMONADE — Breathtakingly different. It is a medium sized, bomb-type peony with a single row of pink guard petals. The bottom half of thebomb itself is pure lemon-yellow which is topped by ruffled pink petals. Thesecolors blend beautifully. It is tall and blooms early midseason. Won Blue Ribbon in 1950 Rockford Show in the not-disbudded class.
1952 INTRODUCTIONS
76A—Vivid Rose. A bright rose pink double, blooms late midseason. Medium Height, strong stems with no stamens. An unusual color that stands out among other varieties. A good garden peony as well as a good cut flower. Flowers keep well in storage.

season, rather short stems, no stamens.
Flowers build to immense size, with stems
strong enough to hold them. A very pleas- ing color. A good garden variety.

69B - Charlie’s White
Medium sized white bomb. This variety does not have any pink in it but opens with a yellowish cast. Tall strong grower - proliferous. Blooms with Mons. Jules Elie or possibly 1 day earlier. Also beautiful in bud and has no stamens. Good keeper in storage. Plant often does not bloom as a 2 yr. old. We be- lieve this to be the best commercial white cut flower. Also a very good garden plant.

A large full rose-type very deep pink. This variety is not tall but has stiff stems with foliage to the ground. Blooms after Baroness Schroeder. Nice smooth bud; has no stamens. Good keeper in stor- age. A wonderful garden peony.
